About ME.
Hello,
My name is Chloe Binding, I'm 20 and from Callington, Cornwall.
I have always been interested in media, even since I was little. I picked up Photography as a GCSE in Year 11, at Callington Community College and loved it! I carried it onto A Level and also studied drama at the Sixth Form. These were my favourite 2 subjects and I felt getting into Film is where I would be able to combine them. I left Sixth Form just after the first year to join Plymouth College of Art and study an Extended Diploma in Creative Media Film and Television. I'm currently on my second year of this course and I'm really enjoying it. I aspire to be a Free-Lance Director and Photographer/ Director of Photography in the film industry. Through this course and my A- levels, I realised directing was in my nature and I do enjoy being able to bring something to life if you will. If one day I can produce something that affects someones life in a good way, and connects to them on an emotional level, I'll die happy! Film is definitely where I'm heading but I do still enjoy Photography as well. I want to keep it up as a hobby and if it goes well, progress with it as a side career.
Currently I plan to go travelling to widen my knowledge of the world and find some influence and somewhere to start. I visited Uganda in August 2015 to film for the charity LRTT. They help deliver teacher training in third world countries to provide a better education. The knowledge and life experience I gained on this adventure will stay with me forever.
